Dumb criminals......now running to jail !!!

Well I got to work this morning and relieved the midnight watch of his duties and as usual we pass on any information that has occured durring the watch, well was I surprised to hear of the incident that occurred early this morning! Well apparently last night, one of these scumbag criminals decides to steal a car here in Honolulu which resulted in a high speed chase by the police. Now this isn't all that unusual in itself, after all, it happens all the time here in the US! What is unusual about this incident is that this criminal didn't seem to know his way around the streets of Honolulu and in his efforts to attempt to get away from the police he thought it would be a good idea to try and enter into a large parking lot and run... Well the parking lot he chose for his great ecape happened to be my place of work. For those not familiar with what I do, I work as one of the central control sergeants here at the Oahu Community Correctional Center. That's right......this jackass drove himself right to jail !!!! My partner was laughing pretty hard when he told me of this. He said it was quite a site to see the look on this guys face when he had all these guns pointing at him (both H.P.D. and our guys) and then looking around and realizing where he had run to.Cost of a flat tip screwdriver........................ $ 1.98Time to break into a car................................ 20 secondsTime to start the car................................... Another 20 seconds.Being involved in a high speed chase........ 3 minutesRealizing you have driven yourself to "JAIL" .... Priceless !!!
