Persian festival
Busy weekend, traffic school (10 hours on saturday), church sat. evening, retreat training sunday morning, "little siagon" for lunch on sun at noon, and Persian New year festival sunday afternoon.
The festival is held every year at a park near my house, ususally attended by about 20,000 persian people from all over California. Quite interesting, in order to have goodluck the rest of the year, on this day they are suppose to spend the whole day outside with family and friends. It was was an interesting cultural experience. Southern California is kind of a melting pot which allows you to experience many types of things from around the world with out ever leaving home. However, there is truely only "one" way to experience the Beautiful people and country of Thailand, and that is to go there!!!
