.... about 17.000 days of my life I spent in the center of Europe,

but "to live" means "to learn" and I assume I have taken enough lessons over here.

So it is time to pack the bags and look out

* for a new home, somewhere between Chaing Rai and Hat Yai, and

* for a new life. The poor mans life might be the hardest but for sure it will clean mind and soul, so lets give it a trial

... and whatever the future may bring: our eyes, our hearts and our arms are open to embrace it....

May I ask your question ?

Why do you think that living in other country will be better than your own country ? do not be offended.. I just need to know.... your opinion.. nothing right and wrong here...

I wish I was in your place my friend...still trying to move to The Land Of Smiles...Most like the same reasons as you...

As for Tudtu's Question: For me, it is the change of life style that makes me want to move to your country...I am tired of the rush paced western life style where many people are rude to each other...this rudeness and madness is what I am trying to leave behind...

Thanks 4 all Ur comments :-)

To lonelybeach ==> this must have been an immense contrast for U to go from Hat Yai => Chiang Mai, not only from the climate point of view but especially from the lifestyle !?. I hope U do feel perfect in CR ;-)

To aNgelbAby ==> woow, I looked at your gallery: It seems like U've seen nearly all the world, so U give an excellent xample for the exploration of this planet :-o Its encouraging :-)

To Tudtu ==> thomaswd put it in the right words: the dynamics over here in the western world tend to more and more ignore the need for a human touch: business meetings on saturdays and sundays, customer calls after midnight, no time to rest (and not eb?ven think of sanook), no time to think about the "real" world, nearly no time to breath; besides the economy goes down steadily (at least in Europe) and while this is about the same in Thailand I still see a lot of chances for pioneering - hope the truth will not teach me too much the contrary. I am well aware of the fact that I will miss my home, our newspapers, our TV-style, my friends and the place where I grew up, but at the end of the day I will go there 1 time a year and its just a 11-hours flight. Besides: I learned to loveThailand, even though the rules tend to restrict foreigners much more than aome years ago.

To thomaswd: Please keep Ur head low in Afghanistan, I pray that there will be a much more peaceful time coming up very soon. God, Allah and the spirit of Buddah may bless U !
