I just want to say a big thanks to Bobbyboy for helping me solve my virus nightmare (no, not THAT one, the computer virus!). And just so YOU don't get it, read on:A couple of weeks ago, I got an offline message on Yahoo Messenger from a good friend. It just said something about some new photos that she'd uploaded. (nudge nudge, wink wink??). The link says something about vacation pics, and in the URL you'll see the--coolpics.If you get a message like this and click it, you'll get the SOHANAD worm. It will disable your control-alt-delete system manager, and it will set you explorer home url to that same coolpics website -- and you can't change it. It also reloads itself every time, even when I used Adaware software and deleted the worm. It's an enormous pain in the ass.If you get this, go to the http://www.trendmicro.com website and install their free trial version. It cured my computer right up. Anyway, thanks a million, Bobbyboy, for that great article on how to de-virus my computer!!! You're a good man, Charlie Brown!

Thanks for the tip.

I probably escaped it by chance because I remember that I received a message about vacation pics, I opened but threw it to the trash without clicking the link!

I still have my control-alt-delete system manager, and my explorer home is still blank so i guess I'm not contaminate.
