  1. I'll be there from 11 December 2011 till 28 December of this year. Stay a few days at Phnom Penh and crossing through the country after that. Doing Angkor Wat and after that maybe Sihanoukville or another place at the sea, as Sihanoukville seems quite busy at times.
  2. It's been a long time since I sent a message here! Being busy with work and more with FB. Most of my friends from here before, I see now on FB. I got a little bit bored with it (like I was bored with TF a few years back ;-)) , especially the abundance of adds was killing me. Also the mass of useless post (does everyone has to know you're at MBK now?). I also blocked all games in FB. I decided to have a look on TF and here am I. I'm following very closely the flood in Thailand because I'm very worried about some friends that lives there. Until now everyone is safe. I feel with all Thais who lost their houses and income and those who died. I changed some pictures and put new ones from April - May 2001, when I was there. I'll be back in December and I'm staying in SE Asia for five weeks. I'll go to Cambodia (my first time) for a few weeks and the rest I'll stay in Chiang Mai and some days in BKK of course. Hope to see some of you there.

  6. flandersnews.be > News > Body recovered from wreckage in Dinant Body recovered from wreckage in Dinant Sat 26/09/2009 - 12:24 Update: Sun 27/09/2009 - 11:30 In Dinant two men tried to rob a bank Friday night using dynamite. They used far too much and part of the building was blown up. One of the men was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. The other man was found dead under the rubble hours later. The two gangsters went to work about 3 am Saturday morning. Belga It looks like they wanted to blow up an automated teller machine but the force of the dynamite caused much of the building to collapse. One of the men was killed. The police were still searching the wreckage to see if there was a second body through the afternoon. The second body was finally recovered Saturday evening.. A delousing squad is also at the scene to make sure there is no dynamite left that did not explode. The bank safe and the money machine were undamaged by the blast.
  7. Just a few minutes ago on a special news edition from a French-Belgian TV-channel she confirmed officially her comeback in the WTA possibly from January 2010. Reasons were she had her life back on the rails and enjoy the reunion with her family. Rodriguez will be her coach again. But he says he'll be more a support for her career then a kind of a second father. She got hungry again after a few exhibitions and one of her goals is coming back at the real top of the women game. Another wish is winning Wimbledon and have the four GS in her trophy cabinet. It's a good thing for women tennis to have someone with a total different style than the common baseline player you see now. Eric It will be great for Belgium to have both Belgian players (Justine Henin & Kim Clijsters) at the top.
  8. I suspect that if your ever caught you'll be determined by the courts to be mentally unfit for trial.... Hwoever, you might well meet the criteria to be eligible for an extended stay at an institution with padded walls and soothing coloured rooms. You may even meet a few banned TF members there.... TF is a virtual institution with padded walls and soothing coloured rooms. Those who were banned were normal people.
  9. Damned Frogster and I thought you were member, even leading member, of the old spinsters ..... eerrrrr, sorry .... the single ladies club!!! Anyway good luck in the UK with your love (and try to give us more sunshine then we get from the moderate Brits, lol)
  10. Some days ago I read a journal about somebody's new notebook. I have to work with a laptop every day at work and the labour law is quite strict as how long you can work with a laptop for your employer. Unless he gives you some things so you can work on an ergonomic way. You can create a lot of damage on your body if you work too long and too often with a notebook. Read more here: http://www.working-well.org/index.html I still prefer to use a desktop at home ( I had to buy a new one this year) and I have a mini-laptop in case I'm away from home for longer than a day. What do you prefer and for what reason? My working space at the office And at home
  11. We suck at a lot of things, but for beer I'm a patriot with reason. A lot of choice for every taste and some world beers. My preferred Belgian beer is Westmalle tripel, a bitter beer with a fruity taste. Okay, this evening I go for one or two

    errrrr...again!

I see no reason why people buy notebooks for using at home. It's not practicable compared to a desktop for using at home (instead you need to go out with it on a regular base). It's bad for your back, wrist, hands and so on. In a lot of European countries it's even forbidden by the law to work for your employer more than two hours a day on a laptop!!! Except if you have a spacial notebookstand and a separate keyboard and mouse. If I think of it, I make a picture of my workplace at the office and show it.

    Belgian food

I made 'Gentse Waterzooi' (from the city of Gent in Belgium) yesterday. It's kind of a soup with big pieces of vegetables (lot of leek, carottes, onion, potatoes and I putted also peas). Most of the time they put a complete chicken in it, but I prefer pieces of it. I poured it out and putted celerie and some light cream to finish. God, it was delicious.

  20. it's strange that I never had that problem ;-)
  21. Again Happy Birthday, Mel
  22. They're great, Nicky ........ I don't have them in the garden anymore, but still can buy the organic ones at the market
  23. If you gather information in a way to prove your point, you sound always right. The article the OP refers to is very short-sighted. If you google a little you'll find the same about Boeing. I think both manufacturers make good and safe planes nowadays. I have flown in both and they're all quite good and safe. Most aircraft's that have an accident is a combination of a lot of factors: maintenance, reliable airline, skills and experience and training of the pilots ........ It's just bad luck to be on the wrong time in the wrong place. I'll give you a few incidents with Boeing's of Qantas from last year and there was also a lot of media hype about it. (and I'm sure it isn't complete) Give me the beer option any time
