  1. I been working in Afghanistan for the last 4 years. If you asked me what I did 2 days ago I would tell you the exact same thing I'm doing right now, and if you asked what I did 2 years ago, the response would be the same. I'm getting burned out and I don't think I can stick around here much longer. Things would be different if I didn't have a crackhead for a boss.

  3. I haven't logged on to TF in almost 3 years! Its nice to see that it's still around; all the blogging memories are starting to flood in.

  5. My friends and I have a formula for this: Your age = x Lowest you would date = n x divided by 2 plus 7 = n
  6. If you can't decide, get a half Thai-Chinese wife.
  7. The weather is starting to change again, much quicker then I thought it would happen. Cold weather is definitely something I’m not looking forward to. I started pulling out all me cold weather gear the other day, just so that I could be prepared. Random Happenings: 1. I got a iPhone on my last trip to Thailand. Now that I have one, I don’t know how I could ever live without it. Apparently I got one that is super-duper unlocked and I can take it anywhere in the world and have it update without worries of getting it locked. 2. I got back into World of Warcraft. This time my online time is limited (by me). I give myself 2 hours a night , to prep my characters for the new expansion. 3. Bodyslam is a Thai rock band. A friend posted a music video of them a few months ago and so far I’ve been hooked. I’m currently in the process of covering one of their songs. *The picture I posted has nothing to do with my entry. I just wanted to post a picture.

  9. War doesn't even feel like war anymore.
  10. Yeah its changed big time. The Post 9/11 GI Bill its unbelievable, as far as funding and money in your pocket is concerned.
  11. Its weird I know, but I go in reverse. When I graduated from high school, I wasn't ready for college. I wanted to experience and see the world be for I started. So I joined the US Army; what better way to travel (for free) the world. Too bad it was only the middle east and Afghanistan. I've pretty much been everywhere I wanted to go and now that I am approaching 30 with a mortgage payment that is pretty much done, I think I'm ready for school. This turned out great for me...I don't have the normal pressures a Freshman has and I'm not worried about money (thank you GI Bill), I'm just going to school to continue the education I been putting off. Now there is a list of school that is approved by VA in Thailand, I just don't know what school to check out or which one would be best for me. Can someone give me a heads up on a good school to choose? Here is the list: ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY BANGKOK UNIVERSITY CHULALONGKORN UNIVERSITY KING MONGKUT'S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, LADKRABANG Kasem Bundit University MAE FAH LUANG UNIVERSITY MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University PAYAP UNIVERSITY Prince of Songkla University RANGSIT UNIVERSITY (INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE) Ramkhamhaeng University SRIPATUM UNIVERSITY CHONBURI CAMPUS SURANAREE UNIVERISTY OF TECHNOLOGY Suan Dusit Rajabhat University THAMMASAT UNIVERSITY There are two school a that seem promising, the first one is Assumption since it totally international and Thammasat, because my dad graduated from there. I just thought it would be cool to go to the same school my pops did.
  12. @ Solon, good ole' soap and water.
  13. I thought it was cool at first, but after working with these things for 2 years I hate them! Well, I'm not sure if it really hate them. It could just be work that I hate - I just know I hate something.
