  2. Very nice pictures! I haven't been to Disney in years but it's always a great time. You absolutely need to return - there is so much more to see.
  3. Wonderful - as always. I wish I could visit these places as you have - thank you for sharing.

    Exploring's journal . . .

Rob: You promised if I let you take my photo sleeping on the bench that you would not publish it. *(%^&%^@. I have a few photos of the towers while they were under construction in the early 1970's - I need to find them and scan. I'll be in the city for a conference the first week of June if you are still nostalgic and make the trip for a pint at PJ Clarke's - maybe I'll make a TF event. Great photos as always and thank you.

    Cherry Blossoms!

I'm just now going through my photos and uploading them and below are shots of a Northeast US Spring ritual - Cherry Blossoms in Washington, DC. A couple weeks ago the weather was unseasonably warm and on a whim I jumped on Priceline and got a great deal at the historic Marriott Wardman Park Hotel so off I went for Passover weekend. The weather was beautiful there and of course there were hoards of tourists who drive the locals crazy but the spring blossoms were at near peak and very beautiiful. Here is a shot near the Tidal Basin: The other direction: The Jefferson Memorial: Right at peak: Talk about color... I was [almost] skillful at getting shots without mobs of tourists: My hotel in Northwest, near the zoo: A neighborhood near Washington Circle: In my next edition - see who can guess where I spent the afternoon:
