  1. Sawat dii khap!

How long have you been in MHS? I've been here three years now, and I hope to stay longer :)

    Have a nice day!

  2. Hey ya!

Happy holidays! How was your Christmas? Any big plans for New Year's Eve? I'm going to a party with some friends, will be nice!

    Take care!

  3. Hey there!

Things are good here, going to Malaysia next week to get a student visa; I can stay for one more year - wohoo!

The weather here is nice, not really cold, for me, but nice and cool at night, making it easy to sleep. How's Bkk, still lots of water everywhere?

  4. I wasn't really thinking of going to the beach... you can take diving lessons in central Bkk now since there's so much water everywhere ;)

  5. One km is not far, that's only about 10 to 15 minutes of walking!!!! ;) I can understand about the expensive resort though, 150 baht per meal is an outrage! Nov 21? That's a long holiday! Hope you can enjoy it - you could always take diving lessons downtown, eh? 55

  6. Oh, that was fast! Has the situation improved that much already, or did you have to go back for something important?

  7. Good to hear your safe! Enjoy Khorat and have a nice weekend!

  8. Good afternoon!

Sorry to hear about your break-up. You're planning to hang around gorgeous MHS for a while?

    Have a good one!

  9. Mornin'!

I'm not much on here either. How about the water, have you been affected much?

I don't have that many students now, only three, and especially not this week when one is too busy for lessons and two other are out of town. A lazy and relaxing week for me in other words :P

  10. Hey,

Are you still hanging around here? I saw you wanted help with some texts... If you still do, and it's not that many pages, I can help you out sometimes.

How are you with the water and all there, are you safe? Hope so!

  11. Hi there Junie!

how are you doing, having a good weekend?

  12. Hi there!

Warm at the moment - just came back from a long walk with my dog :) What's up with you, anything fun going on?

Otherwise, things are good here. Off on a visa run to Mae Sai in two weeks, so a visit in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai as well. Cooking food with friends tonight, always fun :)

    Take care!

  13. I was just home in Sweden for three short weeks, the first time in about 2.5 years. It was really nice to be home and experience a nice, Swedish summer again with almost 24/7 daylight, shops full of goodies, things that actually work, like electricity, and that you can, mostly, rely on what people tell you; they don't just say what they think you want to hear. And then again, it was a bit... dull is the word I think. I missed the life in Thailand, how the street is an extension to the living room, how easy it is, and so incredibly cheap, to get something to eat almost at all hours of the day,

    Visiting Lao

It's also worth going south, down to Pakse, Bolaven Plateau and Four Thousand Islands (Si Pan Don in Lao) in the way south. Plenty of huge waterfalls there, and you can go sweet water dolphin spotting as well. Again, as mentioned before, going by bus takes a loooong time, so perhaps not the best option in your case. If you like Indian food, I highly recommend Nazim's restaurant in Vientiane. It's along the road next to the Mekong. I think they've got another branch elsewhere in town now, but never been to that one myself. Then of course you've got "Scandinavian Bakery" and the "Swedish pizza a
  15. My guess is that they are not even human - bots! Scripts harvesting sites for email addresses, or in this case users who then can automatically be sent messages to. The scammers just need to learn how each site works and adjust the scripts accordingly, and presto - you've got a scam bot going.
  16. With the risk of getting flamed by the ladies here, I do think this is a typical female thing (at least for ladies from the western world), to say what they want in a very roundabout way, thinking we men know what you *really* mean. But believe me, we're way to simple beings to be able to read between the lines that way, or read the minds of women
  17. I would say it's not only about saying something, it's also WHAT you say. Let me illustrate with an example a good friend told me about her and her husband. They were driving down a road back home, with nice flowers growing alongside the road. My friend thought they would look rather nice in a vase on the kitchen table, so she wanted to stop and pick some. She told her husband: "Oh, those flowers are surely nice." Pop quiz: Did he stop and let her pick some flowers? Hell no (or from a male perspective - of course not), he just agreed to the statement that they were indeed some pretty flowers!
  18. Good afternoon/evening! Just stopping by to say hi, and tell you I like your photos; the one on the cliff is especially nice :)

    Take care!

    Good News Today

Great news!!!! I'm looking into distance learning programs myself; I want to sit in MHS and study from unis in Sweden, all for free too - yay!
  20. Usually work starts between 8 and 9 in the morning, depending of what kind of work of course. Then it's eight hours of work with usually one hour of lunch at or around noon; some have only half an hour nut go home earlier.

The weather is classical Swedish summer weather, rain and sun mixed up. That being said, I don't think it has rained today - yet... The summer evenings are magical though.

Is it raining a lot in Thailand now? I'll be back in a week and a half, man time flies!

    Take care

  21. Things are good, it's nice to spend some time here.. but it will be nice to be home as well. The nights are almost magical this time of the year; it's midnight now and not really dark. the sun goes down a bit after 10 pm, and rises again around 3.30 am! It's expensive though.

I think the new avatar is spot on, it captures the inner me! 555 My friend took it with his IPad and some photo app.

  22. Hey ya!

Oh, you went to MHS, when I wasn't there? That's bad timing! ;) How are things?

I'm in Sweden for a few weeks. It's nice to be here, but will be nice to be back in MHS again soon too.

    Have a great weekend!

  23. Hi ya!

Long time now; how are ya? I'm back home in Sweden for a few weeks. Nice to be here, but man, it's expensive :P

    Have a nice weekend!

  24. Thanks a lot! I went to their local dealer in Thewet first, but he didn't have long-legged pants, so I went to the showroom on Thanon Sarasin, got'em! Thanks for the help, much appreciated!
