Seriously, where do they go when they are older? Ive been to THL many times, lived there for 15 months on one strech, travelled north to south, east to west.I have never seen an 'older' Thai ladyboy. Someone posted on a another site said that many ladyboys succumb to a promiscuos lifestyle and die the result of the various afflictions that come with unprotected high risk intercourse.Thats a pretty broad generalization, and I dont see this lifestyle as something you just 'outgrow' as you get older, so what else is there? Like once in MBK i saw a LB working there that must have been late 20's or early 30's but thats it and LBs are so common in THL i dont even give them a second look any more. Anyone? ...Anyone?....Bueller?

Thailand being the country that it is. It is not uncommon in tourist areas to meet 50 year old plus foreigners with 18 year old girls (whether or not they are PAYG or not does't matter) Up country you can bump into the odd 60 year old foreigner who has married himself to a 16 or 18 year old. What age would you date at? Would you be comfortable walking into your local back home with an 18 year old piece of ass with you? What would your mother/father think. For all the "Mr Nice Guys" I know that love is an important thing but there is defintely something creepy about some old git boning a girl a third of his age. This is discussion is obviously open to both sexes.

I have seen a Thai movie, Rot Fai Faah Mahanatuer on Wednesday night. I have a thought. Is it that bad to be single at the age of 30. Actually, I passed the point already. I admit it feel bad at that time, and then time passed by... 5 years later, I feel ok. I have job / friends / money. However, I got some question like, Why are you still single (means "not get married") >>> Damn how would I know. and I don't know how can I get the answer, right? Anyway, from my observation, only my observation, girls around me who are over 30 auch as my classmates Bacherlor's Degree, girls in class about 50 girls still be singles... for Master's Degree classmate, none of us get married, oh except one girl who is muslim she got married cuz her family pick the guy for her, no love, no romantic. I told my dad about this, he just laugh and said. for BA. girls, I think they still have chance but for girls who got Master's degree, got flat chance..and I want you to be with someone who educated and have a good job. Thanks papa. My questions, Is it weird to be single at this age, I mean the world is changed. I have heard new trend is coming. Trend that girls change their relationship style... they have love, but they will not stay together. Just meet up and go back to their places. I'm not sure if it's true...I can't find any research about this issue.

I'm turning 50 this week. Really I dont feel much older than 35. Is 50 a significant year? Whats supposed to happen? What are the 'rules'? Just another year? What are your thoughts?

Ever wonder what happens to them? Do they cut their hair, wash off the make-up and just become men again or what? I've heard the suicide rate is very high because they can't go back to the village. Any insights?

I like this list......I don't think it matters how old we get, we all still have a lot to learn about the rich tapestry of life. As soon as we think we "know it all" then we are finished......and turn into arrogant, ignorant people...kind of like Germans :-o Ten Things We Heard As Children That We Need To Hear Now!!!!!!! If you don't try it, you'll never know if you'll like it or not. No one gets it right the first time. Practice makes perfect. Don't worry about what other people say, you do what you know is best for you. If they laugh at you, just ignore them. You have to make up your own mind; don't wait for someone else to do it for you. Be your own best friend or you'll be your own worst enemy. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everybody has to start somewhere.
