How many times have we heard this statement... I thought this might be a good opportunity to put some criteria together. When is she, when isn't she??? Suggestions welcome...

Andrep: After LMFAO......I realised that this guy must be one of the famous ''quality tourists'' that Khun Thaksin has been so keen to atttract... Guess ''quality tourist'' is just a euphemism for cheap-arse sex tourist...... Same fun - less cost......I thought single guys from India, China, Korea and the former Soviet States were over here to see temples, village dancing and other cultural icons.......

Not really sure how to word this so bear with me..Not really sure how I feel about it either so .... be gentle with me... I have noticed over the last few years that there are many more young guys coming to Pattaya and starting relationships (usually the short meaninless variety) but soetimes long term long distance with bargirls.. In the past the majority of guys here were middle aged (or older) men either divorced/seperated, on a hedonist holiday or up for two weeks of sex, sun and eerrrr....more sex. or just looking for a new wife/live in lover etc.. Things have changed though...A large portion of the guys I see here now are in their very early 20's....Instead of going to the usual European destinations they have come to Thailand...BUT instead of backpacking and sight seeing they are spending their time in Pattaya partying..And hooking up with the BG's. Obviously the girls aren't complaning as going with a fit cute young fella is probably more inviting than a bald, pot bellied geriatric who smells of piss and cabbage...And the guys are still paying for the service. Before the only youngsters the girls got to meet was when the US Navy was in town or the odd teenager escaped from Mum and Dads vacation... What I wonder is what are these young fella's thinking....I certainly had no intention of paying for a girls company when I was 20...also too scared of STD's and the the piss taking from my mates...But now these guys are over here with their mates competing for the cutest girls...and paying too.. Funny cos lots of my "good" thai friends tell me they's love a young farang BF but the BG's get them all... What does this say....Are these guys here cos no strings sex is too dificult to obtain in their own country... Despite the view that western women are promiscuious and "easy" (not my view..I add) Is it for the adventure and intrigue of sleeping with girls of a differnt race. Or do they find the ever heavier and larger Caucasian girls at home less attractive now. I read recently that the incidence of STD's and HIV infection in the UK among young adults is increasing...The medical community had attributed this to young men having sex overseas while on holday...Thailand (unfortunately) was mentioned by name.... Also noticed when talking with girls I know that many of them have "regulars" young guys either coming here at the weekend from BKK or who come to Thailand frequently...Work in Europe till they have the cash for a couple of Months here...party till its finished...Go back work again and repeat the cycle.. And I thought my lifestye was strange...Surely these guys realise its only business for the girls...but they are the most likely ones to send them money each Month...Don't they have GF's in Europe?.....are they just young and easily led by the streetwise chicks? Any thoughts...? (PS) NO pattaya bashing!!! Me or the place...

Why do people refer to thailand as a place to meet women who work in bars and sell themselves? It makes me sad to see such an amazing country use this angle. Ive met so many nice thai women who are honest and decent. Im not blaming anything. What is the cultural difference? People selling themselves in this country (UK) is frowned upon. Why does thailand have this stigma? I dont understand the logic to it. Yes thai people are decent people. and they work. I realise that there is no social support. Where does this culture come from? I do apologise about maybe being provocative. Im just curious. but then again i dont have to contemplate this.
