I was wondering if purchasing a house in Hua Hin would be a good investment? I have a house in Khon Kaen but I would like to move further South. My wife, who is Thai says that Hua Hin gets flooded. Bob

Bangkokian in my meaning is everyone who stay in Bangkok this moment. We might get flooded soon in all areas. Some experts view in worst case scenario is 150 cm. (damn my height is 160 cm.) There is an interesting video I wanna share with you guys, it's some information about flooding this time (except about the crocs) It has English Subtitle. Let's watch and stay safe everyone.

Dear TFers, I know nobody has any magic to know the future as to whether there will be floods in Jan next year or not So I'm wondering if anyone knows when the dry season will begin and whether there is usually heavy rain in Jan each year... Thanks

Everytime Thailand has flooding, there are some crocs escaped from the croc farms. Why there's no good prevention... be careful na kha. Or if you know how to catch 'em you can get some rewards from the farms, but how do we know whom the crocs belong to. Anyway, if you see a croc just don't panic they afraid the human just throw a stick or use your hands to bang water they will go away.

It's about flooding again. In Nonthaburi, water level is at the chest now... My dad's chest. He is 10 CM. taller than me, I'm 160 CM. We did waterwalls but it can't handle... Now I'm in city cuz I have to work and train... I have 2 training courses that I have to finish by this year. I'm so worry about my parents. I tried to convince them to come out and I will rent an apartment for us. They just worry about the stuff in house, worry if someone come to steal them. My dad said I don't wanna come back and see only empty house. I admit I cry every night, I can't get enough sleep, and I can't focus working. What I should do?

Here you have TAT's latest update on the so-called floodings. So stop exaggerating now! Just some minor floodings in the central provinces, nothing more! http://www.tatnews.org/situation_update/5667.asp

I've been watching news about flooding in Thailand for a while and I prepared everything to prevent my house and my stuff already but if situation get worse than I thought I will go for plan B. After my preparation, I turn to see many people who get suffering from flooding this year, I think it's worst than last year. So I think I should help. Last year I send some canned food and some pad (for women). Imagine, if you have to sit on the roof and water around you, what're important for you? I wanna get some idea what I should donate.

From Bangkok Post Published: 29/09/2011 at 04:25 PM Online news: Local News read more http://www.bangkokpost.com/search/news-and-article/flood Yeah!! Nonthaburi, I'm in the risky area, but no surprise at all. Water level in canel back of my village is 1 M. higher than level street right now. We, the villagers spent our money to built up walls made from soild and cray.... one wall on the East side of village cracked... I don't know how long it can handle. I think I need a boat.
