Hi! I'm new to this site and actually I joined to hopefully find thai people who are kind enough who can help me learn their language. Ive been to Bangkok in july 2012 and I fell in love with the place. So, Ive been meaning to learn the language to probably by next year after graduating medical school, be able to transfer there for good and find out what will be up for me. Anyone who can help me? Hi I'm a regular visitor to Thailand and need to lear the language more for future business on Koh Samui. I live in Cardiff in the UK and need to find a tutor. Anyone able to help or suggest somewhere I can try. Thanks Phil

I need to find a new thai language teacher. I speak ok Thai, but read it better (with Thai alphabet). I guess I would classify myself as intermediate. I want 1on-1 classes, 1 hour at a time, maybe 3-4 hours a week...and I actually do homework! My previous teacher is ok but very disorganized and i can't deal with her turning up at the wrong time or wrong day all the time. I was paying her 300 baht an hour. I need to be able to speak reasonably fluently (for business), read pretty well, but writing is not necessary. If anyone has some recommendations I'd be very grateful. Thx a lot.

I'm trying to study Thai on my own but I think it is futile unless I have someone to help me practice. However, my schedule is crazy and I really don't want to join a school and spend a lot of money. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can go to meet people to practice my thai (in a more formal way) or would anyone like to exchange English lessons for Thai lessons? You can email or respond to this post. Thank you in advance for all the help.
