 TWFAF It's not easy to understand slang words in English such as TWFAF = That's What Friends Are For or TMSIDK = Tell Me Something I Don't Know or the words that I can't understand its meaning at the first time such as Edita which means A woman who is intelligent, beautiful, sexy and funny. EdiSnob which means A person, who when disagreeing with your on-line post, enjoys correcting your spelling and grammar quite as much as pointing out fallacies in your opinions. Thanks anything good in the world I found these 2 cool sites haha. http://www.internetslang.com/ http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Edita

I've seen it spelled both ways. Usually farangi spell it Joop Joop and Thais spell it Joob Joob which is correct?

Can someone please explain.. When Thais use the term "farang", does it mean foreign, as in any foreigner from outside Thailand? e.g. Would they use it for say a Chinese or Vietnamese? Or does it mean caucasian? If it means foreigner do they consider themselves farang when living/working abroad? :?: :?:

This is a question about language. As a newcomer here, it has struck me as odd how many TF girls refer to themselves as bitchy in their profiles. This is just a guess, but is "bitchy" the direct translation of a Thai word that has a different nuance than it does in English? I ask because "bitchy" is not such a popular word for native English speaking women to describes as, even ironically or in fun. If they were trying to be cute or sarcastic, "ho" would be a lot more common. Can anyone offer any insight? :?:
