Thailand has some beautiful islands but this blows them all away. It is a perfectly secluded unspoiled tropical beach you could ever hope to find. Seriously, I've never seen anything like this, never thought in my wildest dreams something so pristine, so perfect could possibly exist. Bright white sands, chunky cartoon-like rocks, palm trees shooting off into the sky like rockets and crystal clear emerald waters of a kind that couldn't possibly be represented in a holiday brochure. This is all supposed to be the other way round isn't it? As my friend said, if it gets better than this then I don't wanna know. Cos' it can't, it just can't. Went there about ten years ago, and stayed at that very resort (Perhentian island Resort). Beautiful, but too quiet for me at the time. Left there in the morning, flew Khota Bharu-KL-BKK-Samui in one day. I have since heard that they have a lot of drug problems in the Perhentian Islands (there are two by the way).
