Admin_2
http://www.superrich1965.com/app/our_rates.aspxone of the best places. Agreed. If you are exchanging larger amounts of cash, this is the place to go. I don't know how they do it...but they do it. Very reliable.

carz79
@ DANNO: it is moreso a result of the other nations just $hitting themselves. Mixed news from USA today but their housing indicators were worse than expected. I'm ok with the Aussie dollar doing nicely thanks to our chinese friends buying our resources! (if I may ask?) I haven't changed it yet. Still clinging to hope. but ultimately on $1000 if the rate is 32.5 rather than 33 I stand to loose 500 baht, which is ok for me, just wish I exchanged when the rate was 35 when I 1st came to Thailand. Exploring
It is pretty scary for the pairof USD/THB lately, yet, it benefits me at least for people who will go abroad and a bit suffer when the time they come back Thailand and exchange the dollar fo Thai in less than last few year. Of coure,I will not have US dollar account in thailand since dollar will depreciate further.Keep and eye on people. The largrly drops in us value comparing to THB give me enormously curiosity and concerns because, at this time bank of thailand suppose tol act suddenly in giving their speechs on why,but they just disappeared for a day. For what then that take them so long to intervene.I will ask my colleages , because I took vacation and just MISSED the exciting part in financail market. PS . Bank of Thailand comes out with not intervene that is why we have this kind of value though. My concern is that ,nornally they will support exporter guys.. but clearly not this time. What wrong with thai exchange rate mechanise, or they want to suppy dollar for this time? Hobbes
Lol @ DC...She was wondering why the local version of the Fed isn't intervening since the stronger Baht will hurt Thai exporting industries at some point. I'm not an economist but contrary to what can be read on various forums I don't think it's the strength of the Baht that causes the slide of 'our favourite currencies' but rather the weakness of the Pound, Euro & Dollar based on the still weak economies (despite the bullish assurances that the worst is over by some second-hand-car-sales-man cum politicians). I surely didn't see it coming that the Euro would be sunk by some creative accounting courtesy of Goldman-Sachs and some bloke shouting "This is Sparta!". Even though the mountain of the Greek debt is stupendously enormous making Mt. Olymp look rather like a warts-shaped thingy yet nobody appears to have noticed. Not that the UK is in any better shape or form with their deficit/debt being equal to that of Greece and not only that but british households are on average indebted by 170% of their annual income, which is even higher than households across the pond. Still somehow this isn't all that bad even though the UK hasn't got a Euro-zone that could bail them (however reluctantly) out like Greece. Makes one wonder though...I mean was is still being made in the UK except for dodgy bankers padding their Saville Row suits with bundels of cash for their epic fails and spending the rest of their days as non-dom tax exiles in Belize or Santa Lucia or some other sun-drenched location with a well stocked cocktail bar. Leaves the US, still mighty or so some think. Well, if they finally manage to wage war on a country small and ill-defended enough that they can actually win (where is a Communist uprising in Grenada when one needs one) within a Presidents term maybe the Dollar will stop heading South. But I wouldn't bet on that.
sugar_husk
I didn't see much changing in exchange rates for past few months back (at least this quater) except for pound which is getting weaker than usual do i miss anything ? USD got worst enough since 2008 or so til now for exporters , hit enough and now nothing to hurt, get used to.
