The reason why I posted this topic is to ask you guys' help to look for this one person whom I met at the Songkran festival in Bangkok. He is a Thai guy, skinny, about 21-26 years old. I traveled to Thailand during the Songkran festival 2011. My Thai friends and I were at the RCA Slim songkran 2011 party on April 15 2011... We got a table far from the stage and closer to the entrance. If somebody walked to our tables from the entrance, the tables should be on the right and next to the walking path where people walked in and out the whole night. Then I saw this Thai guy at the table behind ours. He hung out with 4 or 5 people (I guess all are from Thailand) in which there was 1 female. They had water guns and a huge spray bottle. THat night he wore a dark brown or dark color t-shirt. We kept splashing water at each other and for us it was something like a crush at first sight. I left early that night and before I left, he and 1 of his male friends (who wore a blue top) followed me to the entrance and asked me something in Thai, which I did not understand. I guessed he asked me for contacts or why I left so early. After that I just walked away cause my girlfriend rushed me to. Now I feel so stupid and I can't help thinking about what happened. I don't know how to find contact with the guy i am trying to look for. Just think it would be so fun and amazing if I could find him out of 200,000 people attending that party that night! Could you please help post this story in Thai on some popular Thai forums please? or please pass the story around to people whom you know were at the party? But I still thinking that this kind of effort is the most romantic thing on earth and It had happened to me once when I was in high school. We were in the packed train to the South on New Year Holiday, I was with couple of friends to a friend's house in Chumporn and he was going somewhere further. We sat on the floor as the train were so packed, he listening to music from walkman has earpieces on, he offered an earpiece to me and we started chatting ... After I got off the train at Chumporn I think I felt like you at the moment but only i knew from him at that time is his school and I even wrote letter to him sent to his school address. That way I hope may be it is easier for someone to identify him.. Can you help translate it to Thai? Thank youuu!!!! And for your questions: 1. I thought about making a website like what that guy did, but I have no idea how to do it and I think it only worked in America because everyone there speaks English and was so curious about the result. The website was even mentioned on a local newspaper and everybody gossiped about it until it hit a friend of the girl and then she gave him her details... He found her after like only 5 days can you believe it? =] 2. I dont have any pictures or videos from that night because my friends told me not to bring them, the camera/recorder can get damaged if hit by water. 3. My friends checked but nobody knew about the guy and none of them brought the camera. 4. I really really want to find the guy, and I want to give it my best shot. That way even if I can't find him, I'd still be happy about that fact that at least I tried...=] Again, thanks everyone for reading this and being so helpful to me!!! You guys are the best! They (his friend and him) followed me immediately after I said bye to my other friends and they caught me at the entrance before I left for home. It could be seen as being a bit confusing for the guy. He spoke to you in Thai? Do you think that he speaks English? Do you speak Thai? You want to make a website, post in local papers, on Thai forums and English forums based on Thai networking, dating, culture etc etc?? All of this on the premise that you had a bit of eye contact with a guy during a water fight? Sorry to sound negative but you have literally no chance and going to this length over something so miniscule is almost scary. If your efforts works, I will be amazed. But good luck to you anyways. At the time the music was loud, my girl friend rushed me to go home because she was frozen with iced water. She did not get used to it. We've partied since 6 to 10.30pm... So I just walked away with no name no contacts or anything... It might sound stupid and ridiculous, like you said, but well... idk what i am doing but i cant stop thinking about it. Oh well... I'm just gonna wait for Windy's version in Thai and post it up in newspapers and some websites. If nothing comes back to me, it's ok. I'm well prepared for it anyway.
