Need an idea for a Christmas present for a Thai girl

Can anyone give me some idea of what present I can buy for her. I'm afraid money is very tight so something in the range of a 100 Baht is my limit.

Do you think she would be offended if I were to buy her a pair of knickers with a flashing seasonal santa clause, I saw for sale on the market.

With your budget, it would not be a pair - maybe one but the battery of the flashing thingy would be torn.

Ok you got me. That was my humorous side coming out. No really my funds only extend to a monthly pension i receive from the UK.

I worked it out if I can save a 100 baht a week by perhaps cutting down on luxury items such as pot noodles and vegemite I should be able to spoil her with a new Rolex watch i have seen on sale, very cheap on The Sukhumvit Rd in Bangkok.

Well there's always the get out clause that she most likely doesn't celebrate Christmas and therefore if you don't mention it, Christmas will roll by unnoticed.

Not likely. Hard to miss Christmas if you live in Bangkok.

Here's an idea. Print up some fake ownership deed for a star in the sky and tell her you bought her the star. :-)

Its easy as long as she doesn't leave the kitchen.

Another idea, just change the dates. When she says "when's Christmas?" say "December25th" and on the 25th she will say "merry Christmas" then say "huh? That was last week"

Problem solved.

Or buy Viagra for 100Baht and say it's a gift for both of us.
