Down2Earth Posted November 9, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2006 my best trip was in Hanoi and Halong Bay alone as a backpacker in March 07..i got lost i was dumped i looked stupid as a tourist but i had so much fun meeting new people along the way and i missed it a lot.i booked a guesthouse in advance though..a friend i met on the internet helped me a lot with the info. and reservation :wink: Would love to go there someday and umm backpack sounds about right!
