Bangkok to UK by car?

Well, I guess you might have slight troubles crossing the Channel by car only ;)

Actually, as there have been races from Beijing to Paris and vice versa, it should be an interesting trip, given you get all the necessary visas.

A friend of mine (female, blonde and good looking!) flew to India in 2000, bought an Enfield replica there and traveled from there to China and back via India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria and all the Maghreb to Europe. I met her in Yemen, where she was traveling without the bike because she did not get a visa for Saudi Arabia (only women accompanied by their father, husband or uncle will get visa there!) and had it stored at Egypt customs. In Yemen, we did some travel together and her stories were amazing! Later, she crossed over to Eritrea by fishing boat and luckily met a Yacht owner there at Massawa who took her back to Egypt by sea to retrieve her motorbike.
