Narmada
Sorry, no idea about the link, but this must be among the silliest questions I've read here anyway. How could anyone in their right mind want to decide which are the best among Bangkok's 20,000 restaurants? Go out, eat and find your own best choices! Mikee_Moose
Italian: Giusto (Soi 23) French: Le Normandie or Le Creperie (Soi 12) Indian: forgot the name but its at the Rembrant Hotel at the top. Incredible food and with entertainment. Quality is evidenced by the number of Indians eating there. Thai: A toughie. I like Baan Glang Nam on the river. Food is excellent and priced well, service is good andambience is also good. On Rama III. American: Burger King (Mwaahahahaa) That's my short list. 8)

Norfolkinchance
Best Indian - Indian Hut. Less 'stuffy' atmosphere than Rembrandt Hotel Indian, although there is an excellent Mexican in the Rembrandt! Best Steak - Neils Tavern I would say Best Italian - so, so many good Italian Restaurants - I actually like Pomodoro in the basement of Nai Lert Building (my office). Also same building - Tony Romas for ribs. So many fantastic restaurants! British food - Bulls Head and Londoner Pub are great value, good food, as is The Dubliner and Bobby's Arms. Thai - Baan Kanitha (I think that is what it is called) on Soi Ruam Rudee. Getting hungry now!!!! Bon apetit guys n gals.

Dominique355
I don't know if these are the "best" restaurants, but they are among my favorites: Italian: Opera, Sukhumvit Soi 53 (PS: I am an Italian fan, go to Italy 3, 4 times per year, and I think this is really good, even the wine list!) Thai: Ton Krueang (Sukhumvit Soi 55), try the Tum yam! Poetry! French: Normadie (Oriental Hotel) terribly expensive, but what do you expect from French cuisine. You even have to wear necktie and jacket! Typical Thai: Any "Kaow man gai" restaurant, especially the one on Ramkhamhaeng, near Soi Mistine
