The Lost Weekend (1945)

The film was nominated for seven Academy Award nominations and received four major accolades: director Billy Wilder scored a double-win, both as Best Director (Wilder's second directorial nomination and his first Oscar win), and co-writer of the Best Screenplay (his fifth screenwriting nomination and first win).
