7 THINGS DON'T DO IT WHEN YOU EAT

· Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

· Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

· Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

· Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

· Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

· Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

* Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).

number 3 and 5 together kind of makes sense.

If you loosen your belt and start walking around you can lose your pants and trip in them. If you by chance is standing in front of a hot iron you can burn your self. In an attempt to avoid further burns you are likely to jot backwards and will then fall down the stairs and break your neck.

So not following these 7 basic rules will kill you. You are hereby warned :shock:

Speaking of acid... did you know that Chili Peppers (not the rock band - the food) are in fact non-inflammatory foods?

Chilis are alkaloid and if you ever have severe stomach problems after eating spicy food some citric acid like Lemon or Lime will cure your ailments. Milk or rice will do likewise but that's got more to do with the fats and proteins therein which also negate the effects of strong alkali.

The Chili Peppers rock band on the other hand are most inflammatory and cause all manner of overheating if watched from a live audience. Beer and spirits are probably a better way of dealing with this problem and you'll never even remember eating the hot chili come morning time!

if you are so skinny. :) or your pants are very loose.

I drink tea all the time. It never seems to stop digestion of a full English Breakfast. Tea supposedly contains anti-oxidants.

· Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal. Just fart. End of problem. Seriously, fruit mis supposed to be a part of one's meal (5 a day).

· Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

Never heard of it.

They suggest not bathing after eating, as it will cause stomach cramps.

How? Why?

A big meal always makes me sleepy. Please explain cause and effect. I fail to see how walking prevents proper digestion. Please enlighten me.

Smoking is bad, full stop! Why does smoking when eating increase risk? please explain.
