Aphrodite
Have anyone bought a Travel Health Insurance before? I need it for my visa application. Where do you normally buy it from? I did not find much information about it on the net. I would appreciate if anyone could give me more detail about it (price, how/where to buy etc.) Thank you in advance

I did not find much information about it on the net. I would appreciate if anyone could give me more detail about it (price, how/where to buy etc.)Thank you in advance Travel agents, bank's, and regular insurance companies all usually provide travel insurance. If you have a credit card, you can even buy it online. e.g. http://www.worldnomads.com/

GoldMember
Buying it online with a specialist travel insurance company is invariably the cheapest option.Stay well clear of travel agents as they fleece you alive.
JayB
You could try one of these http://e-insurethailand.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=49&Itemid=70 http://www.thaihealth.co.th/ejourney.html Suggest you check with the Embassy of the country you are visiting. Some will only accept insurance from certain companies The insurance you get by paying with a credit card may not be acceptable to the country issuing the visa. Like most things you get what you pay for so bear in mind that an inexpensive policy usually means lower cover or less things being covered
