Hmm,

First I guess that we should define the meaning of "ex"?

a)

- a cyber partner

- an one night/weekend partner

- a person who you dated for a while

Answer: No problemos, why should I be a friend?

B)

- a person you have been engaded

Answer: A little harder one but why should we friends?

c)

- a person you married for a little time. Lets say under 2 yrs. No common obligations.

Answer: Also a little harder one but why should we friends?

d)

- a person you married and have common kids. Married under 10yrs. No capital.

Answer: Going harder. Should be at least looking like friends coz of the common kids? And be adult enough to take care of the kids.

e)

- a person you married, have common kids and have common capital

Answer: Two choices;

1) "bloody" divorce and terrible fight of kids and capital.

2) you are best friends and everything goes nicely to the end of your life :)

Not going to tell in which category I belong to (PiAnt will guess E1 to me).

Hmm,

A relationship ends when a man/woman stops (belive it or not) loving the partner. Why, well there are as many reasons as there is stars in the sky...

What I mean is that the fault can be the man's or woman's fault. Who care's and does it matter, if the relationship end's it end's. The main issue is that they can be friends.

Hmm,

I wrote earlier "First I guess that we should define the meaning of "ex"? "

So I guess that I'm in the category "e" still let you guess E1 or E2 ;)

In Finland we see things different, we are quite easy people in many cases, the most important thing is, that the kid's are number one. We can fight etc. but never when the kids are present etc... And never draw the kids into the fight, sadly some people do it :(

If they are "friends" the "relationship" has not "ended" and is "not" over..

It is just a platonic relationship, a shell of the former and in most cases, the one who did not want to break up may still be after there ex partner. A difficult situation in some cases........

well i think that's semantics, isn't it. i mean if you want to get that way about it, avoiding someone is a *kind* of relationship between two people. i think we all know what is meant when "relationship ends" is said.

i think it fairly easy to sort that "still after ex partner" mentality and VERY easy to spot. i tend to shut it down brutally and with great finality which works quite well.

friendship doesn't HAVE to be a shell of the former, depends on if you had anything in common outside the bedroom doesn't it. i number several ex gfs among my best friends, and i'm quite happy with this arrangement, these friendships are not somehow on a lower plane than the ones that didn't involve sex at some point.
