When are you visiting? If you are coming before Christmas, you can visit Regent Street/ Oxford Street and see the Christmas lights (and the crowds). Trafalgar Square and the Christmas tree. But be warned, for New Years Eve, most pubs/clubs charge an entrance fee, and a lot of the clubs are already sold out.

London Zoo, London Aquarium, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Royal Observatory at Greenwich, The Tate Modern, Tower of London. The list goes on and on. :D
