I have lived and worked in Thailand now for about 6 years, working in a university, teaching English. I shall have finished my MA towards the end of next year and was thinking of trying to find work in Vietnam. I have been there before for a holiday so I have a little experience of the place but as I have found living in Thailand, it takes a good few years before you can reallly get a feel for a place. My company had an office there and invited me to relocate from Jakarta to Saigon, so it was pretty straight forward for me. I had all of the paperwork (contract, job offer) in place and got a 6-month multi-entry business visa. This is the way to go. Where to find jobs? Do you want to go into teaching? Or what?
