How much of a people-pleaser are you?

I got 30

You had a low score on the people-pleasing scale, which means you have your limits and are able to say "no" when others ask too much of you. You trust your own opinion and ability to make decisions, and don't rely on the views of others to guide your every-waking move. Although some people (those with the disease to please) would interpret this as selfishness, this doesn't mean that you only think of yourself. You probably still want to make others happy and care about their well-being, but you aren't willing to sacrifice your own needs for them. You've got a pretty high self-esteem and the assertiveness skills to stand up for yourself. Just be sure not to go to the other extreme of people pleasing, which would be a demanding, self-serving nature. As long as you still consider other people's feelings, you've got a healthy approach.

Way to go!

After going to that link, and then reading the questions, I realized that these questions were similar, if not exactly the same, to a test that I had already taken before, most likely from another journal, or link, that I saw on TF.com.

So.... This being (my) case already, I will opt out of this test and request a 'C' for 'Credit', or what ever y'all that teach school call it.

Well then, back to my packing...

Although you don't have a full-blown case yet, you've got some of the symptoms of the disease to please. In certain situations, or perhaps with certain people, you either put the opinion of others above your own, or do things that make you uncomfortable just to make them happy. At other times, however, you know yourself and don't compromise your integrity just to score points. While wanting to please is a healthy intention, sacrificing your own well-being for others is never a good thing. It will open the doors to people who might take advantage of your giving nature, and may even make you bitter. Keep being a generous person, but don't be afraid to put your foot down.

same as dear acherry 8)

that is scary to be the same as you

My score is the worse possible one: 50! So i still don't know whether i am a pleaser or not. Guess it depends on whom i have to please (LOL)

hey i got 25 points,

at least a test where i got points, normally i am requested to send some points in as i ran into the negative. And you dont know how hard it is to get some points, especially when you are me.

Arkon

Thanks for sharing Arkon and congratulations on your 25 points.

Well done!

50.....a pleasantly ambiguous score :D

i am well pleased with my pleasantly (to me) unambiguous 10...

Hmm evidently the *New York factor* is coming into play here. I look forward to the hospitality of the ZBH International Hotel and Tower on Columbus Circle

zbh international hotel and grill... crack ho, no extra charge... reasonable (by new york standards) rates... we aim to please... well, at least we aim...
