  1. 1. Do you find top models attractive?

    • Nope, give me a buxom bikini model over one of those anorexic girls anytime.
    • Sometimes, but some of those girls really are too skinny.
    • Yes, me like supermodels big time.
    • Beer and the girl next door option.

Ok, I've never been a big fan of big breasted bikini or topless model. But I have to admit, in my days, falling for a few of those sexy supermodels as they were doing there little thing on the catwalk...

It's like a love and hate relationship, I find the fashion industry totally superficial and pointless, but I have to admit being litteraly hypnotized watching some of those girls walking.

But enough about me, who's you're favorite top model? Who's the girl or guy who's fashion photos make your heart beat a little faster and your brain ask the question: "why can't I ever meet/date someone like that?" (I will tell you mine later, I want to see if somebody picks her first).

Pictures are much welcome on this one, of course...

And don't forget, in the words of iconic male model Derek Zoolander:

Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

I'll go for girls next door anytime, MUCH more sex appeal. Sometimes if you see about 20 different women walking the catwalk with a look on their face as if they died last week but haven't discovered it themselves there are 1 or 2 which look nice but the most are just neutral (I think that's the whole point anyway). And when you take the skinny bodies in account, yup, I prefer a little more rounding on the backside and if there's some in front that is welcome but not too important.

When I hit puberty I was very fond of Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen but that was just hormones raging, models they don't make my heart skip a beat anymore. I like NASTY and naughty and I always remember models being very much NOT like that, they're great for exposing clothes and that about it. ...No offense

ha! Zoolander!

It remains me of Halloween party.

One of my friend was disguised as Hansel (Owen Wilson's part ) at the party.

About your question:

I'm not into super model. sorry!

Owen Wilson was classic in that movie  most crap ass movies he's in are somewhat ok because of Owen, except for that one "serious" movie where he was shot down in Bosnia I believe, he never stod a chance to make things right

Working in fashion business myself, I know many models and believe me *many* of them are more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking.

Modelling is a short term career (let me just say after a model turns 25 she?s likely to be unemployed). Those models need to have plan B, C (marry a rich old man or marry a movie star or turn to be a business woman or perhaps a lawyer) it depends on how smart they are.

Fashion business might seems totally superficial and pointless for some but believe me people who are in the business work as hard as others.

I don?t have any favourite model yet but I?m pretty sure I will be seeing loads of sexy pictures on the forum again. This is TF after all.

You make some good points Nicky, but the problem is that most of the older supermodels we hear about on television are those who ended up marrying a rock star or a movie actor. So, we find it hard to believe they can actually do something other than use their beauty to get by. (And please don't talk to me about Tyra Banks various TV projects, I find her completely pathetic).

I disagree, I found Zoolander totally hilarious. I do agree that Ben Stiller defenitely stole the show though, Owen really didn't do so much in the movie.

I thought you were a supermodel, Fujico.

So far we've learned that:

1) Fujico-san is not into supermodels;

2) She is a model herself;

This is all good news Loburt, we might still have our chances with her... :D

BTW- I saw her first

You're right Mazzy pazzy, Stiller WAS better, I'm just saying I think Owen played it cool. When you look at other (I'll reframe) cheap ass comedies which never the less can be funny Owen is one reason why they're funny, but of course to each his own.

they all come and go with the times.......just like old vintage cars.........they're all too glamorized by the makeup, fashion, mags, and media............and then the age factor, time doesn't wait for you, when they're are best in their prime..........i just saw a clip with cindy crawford the other day, and age has taken it's toll...almost didn't even recognize her....sad........but one good thing, if they're smart, they can make the bucks, and have a good life till the end............ :D

Well to get back to the topic after this little interlude...

This is who I had in mind:

katiemosskl.jpg&w=465

I know, I know... Kate Moss is a 33 years old anorexic coke *****, who can hardly take care of her own daughter these days, but... Kate Moss' Calvein Klein fashion pics from the 90's litteraly defined feminine coolness for me...

I don't buy into the hype and lies, i take no notice of advertising and the bullshit that surrounds it.

i have never and will never put a celebrity higher than a *****, who just happend to luck out.

i don't see the point in idolising someone or something that is an image, a falsity, a manufactured thing designed to meet a demographic.

That sounds pretty cool and tough but the truth is you buy into advertising anyway, you don't really have a choice, unless you close your eyes and put your fingers up your ears. IT HAS effect on you wheter you like it or not.

Plus a lot of things are possible because of advertising, without it there really wouldn't be much on tv for example really so call it bullshit all you want and deny it has an effect on you but you're not fooling anyone but yourself

actually from what i know her drug of choice is heroin.

naomi cambell is the coke ***** (CONFIRMED, seen snorting lines in men's room at Bowery Bar).

i don't like models.

nothing against skinny girls at all (gf can borrow model's clothes) but models tend to be massively tweaked in the head.

also, for vast numbers of them, their primary ambition in life is to marry a rich guy, park their ass in his 5th avenue apartment, and watch MTV on his big screen tv.

they're not *all* like that, of course. your girl, Moss, is more of a hang-out-with-rock-stars type.

but they're mostly female and that'll do

i don't know how the exact proverb goes - it's something like a maid, unmarried, first only wants a guy, once married she wants everything else

and why would a supermodel be anything else

lamborghini's need fuel too, and a lot

Trust me (and the hundreds of pics and articles available on this on the net), she likes coke too...

Totally agree with the rest of your comment. But do check the earlier exchange between P'Nicky and I. She raises some valid point.

People use anything they got to get by - whether it's intelligence, beauty, good luck, or whatever comes their way. There's quite enough bad luck going around that you'd have to be sorry using what you do have.

I spent some time with a "model" not less beautiful than the above, but a lot less famous, and the talk went along precisely those lines.

She was still being gorgeous and pretending to be enthusiastic about what she was doing, but when you listened to what she was really saying, she was only looking at plans B and C, trying to get in decent touch with the right (rich) guy, etc.

A nice one is she actually got paid for putting her pics on a marriage agency to attract customers - but at the same time she said "you never know".

And no, she was not afraid to use a combination of her assets to make the best of her life. Because it's the only way, the alternative being about 400 dollars per month - if she got lucky - and that's even with her shape.

Because beautiful people, intelligent people? There are millions and millions and they all need to eat and drink every day.

No, intelligence, beauty, rich parents, nobody ever deserved anything.

It's there - or not - and the only difference is made by your ability to use it.

I just can't look down on people for them being beautiful and making something of it.
