Having been a military brat and moving all around the USA and then working and travelling abroad, I have come across quite a few enjoyable restaurants. Here are just a few of my favorites. Do you have any?

Henry's Hi-Life, San Jose, California. Great ribs, chicken and chops:hilife.jpg

The Cat's Meow, New Orleans, Louisiana. The best Oyster Poor Boy sandwich ever :112635614DIJLYz_fs.jpg

The Gumbo Shop, New Orleans, Louisiana. Great gumbo:250619812uEznEr_ph.jpg

The Blue Parrot Bar, Pattaya, Thailand. Great Chimichangas:pattaya-blue-parrot.jpg

Nanai BBQ Buffet, Patong Beach, Thailand. Can't beat all you can eat for 120 Baht:nanaibuffet_19a.jpg

for me there are just too many to say here...

right now Im reminded of Ku De Ta in Baii...

But then, I have a favourite place in Essourira, Morroco....places in India,... er.... all over Asia in fact.

even the little place north Sydney, on Pitwater, when I used to sail. Its only accessable by the jetty and makes the best fish and chips. Oh ****... then there is melbourne... er... Europe...

Overload!!! :shock:

I loved Chez Andy on Samui, purely because I spent a lot of time in Austria as a child and love wiener schnitzel and Chez Andy served the best one I had tasted east of Salzburg.

In Scotland, I love the Kishorn Seafood Bar in Lochinver with stunning views over to Skye and some of the best local seafood you can find.

In Glasgow itself it has to be the wonderful Ubiquitous Chip (not a chip shop btw) or if a posh occasion or family celebration, it has to be Stravaigin;
