At the conclusion of his speech, the crowd presented him with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - Walking Eagle. Tony then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds. A reporter later asked the Indians how they came to select his Indian name. They said Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of **** that it can no longer fly.

Gordon Ramsay’s Porn Dwarf Double Eaten by Badger

U.K. tabloid Sunday Sport recently introduced the world to Percy Foster, a 35-year-old dwarf porn star whose career was just beginning to catch fire. It was all because an observant production assistant on the set of Hi-Ho Hi-Ho, It's Up Your Arse We Go had noticed how much Foster looked like celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. But just as Foster was set to join the rarefied ranks of celebrity lookalike dwarf porn stars, tragedy struck: The body of the 3' 6" performer has been discovered in a badger's den, partially eaten.

(I have no idea what fingertip technology is, but I imagine it's akin to one of those claw cranes you find in arcades and drugstores.)

Officials have not yet ruled out suicide, and adult film producer Dexter Yamunkeh's comments — in which he intimates that Foster may have cracked under the pressures of being the world's leading Gordon Ramsay-lookalike-sex-dwarf — certainly don't invalidate the possibility:

"Percy was a little guy with big problems. He was doing well but he was under pressure, 24/7, like everyone in this goddamned business."

It's more than a little curious that the internet, aka God's porn dumping grounds, contains not a single reference to either Percy or Dexter prior to these two news items. But that's just the cynic in me talking. So tonight, we pour out a little (and I do mean little) gin in memory of poor Percy. CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australian passports will now have three gender options — male, female and indeterminate — under new guidelines to remove discrimination against transgender people, the government said Thursday.

Transgender people and those of ambiguous sex will now be able to list their gender on passports with an 'X' if their choice is supported by a doctor's statement.

Previously, gender was a choice of only male or female, and people were not allowed to change their gender on their passport without having had a sex-change operation.

Senator Louise Pratt, whose partner was born female and is now identified as a man, said the reform was a major improvement for travelers who face questioning and detention at airports because their appearance does not match their gender status.

"'X' is really quite important because there are people who are indeed genetically ambiguous and were probably arbitrarily assigned as one sex or the other at birth," Pratt said. "It's a really important recognition of people's human rights that if they choose to have their sex as 'indeterminate,' that they can."

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd said the new guidelines removed discrimination on the grounds of gender identity and sexual orientation.

"This amendment makes life easier and significantly reduces the administrative burden for sex and gender diverse people who want a passport that reflects their gender and physical appearance," Rudd said in a statement.

Attorney-General Robert McClelland said while the change would affect few Australians, it was important because it would allow them to travel free of discrimination.

Home Office to phase out full-facial passport photos for gimps

The Home Office is to waive the rule which insists on a full-facial photograph where the applicant is a leather-clad sex slave habitually used to peering through a mask. The proposed moves follows pressure from the Liberal Democrats who claim it is necessary to avoid problems encountered by people who are chained to a leash 24/7 and are only able to breathe through a narrow opening.

Currently everybody with a passport must identify themselves as either male or female on the document. But the Home Office has begun a consultation on changing the system to allow a category for the small minority of people who are unable to tick either box because they are only allowed out of a dungeon for short intervals.

The new ruling will insist only that the photos be in colour, against a plain background, and that the leather outfit and face-mask are the most recently worn. The leash must be fully visible at all times. Man claims 140-year-old photo proves Nicolas Cage is a vampire

An online entrepreneur is selling a photo from 1870 on eBay which he says proves Nicolas Cage is a vampire.

Jack Mord is asking for $1million for a photo of a man, believed to have lived in Tennessee around the time of the American Civil War, who has a resemblance to the Hollywood star.

Mr Mord, a dealer in antique images, believes the photo is of Nicolas Cage himself and proves the actor is a member of the 'walking undead'.

The eBay listing for the photo reads: 'Original c.1870 carte de visite [a type of small photograph] showing a man who looks exactly like Nick Cage.

'Personally, I believe it’s him and that he is some sort of walking undead / vampire... who quickens / reinvents himself once every 75 years or so.

'150 years from now, he might be a politician, the leader of a cult, or a talk show host.'

The seller claims he found the photo at the back of an album of Civil War-era portraits, but he noticed there was something inconsistent with the other pictures.

He said: 'All of the other people in the album, living and dead, were identified by name - this man was not.'

Fellow eBay members have left ridiculing messages on the page for Mr Mord's listing, questioning why Nicolas Cage has aged so much over the past decade if he really is immortal.

The seller responded: 'My theory is that he allows himself to age to a certain point, maybe 70, 80 or so, then the actor "Nicolas Cage" will "die" ... but in reality, the undead vampire "Nicolas Cage" will have rejuvenated himself and appeared in some other part of the world, young again, and ready to start all over.'

Mr Mord says the photo was taken by Professor GB Smith, a confederate Civil War prisoner of war photographer, and he has promised to allow the person who buys it to authenticate its age before the sale goes through.

Office Worker Freezes To Death In Air Conditioning Tragedy

BANGKOK – The rainy season took yet another innocent life yesterday when Nattawan “Plum” Boonsathivorn, 29, froze to death in her cubicle at work, a victim of what police have assessed as “acute office hypothermia” or AOP.

The tragedy took place at the offices of Fin-Thai Financial Services PCL, located on the 22nd floor of Bangkok City Tower on Sathorn Road. Nattawan had been hired in April 2009 as an executive secretary, a position that placed her at a desk directly under the office’s most powerful air-conditioning vent.

According to office staff, Nattawan was working late Monday night on a deadline assignment, and was the last one in the office. Her stiff, lifeless body was discovered by cleaning staff early the next morning. Forensic specialist Dr. Porntip Rojanasunan confirmed the cause of death as air-conditioning.

Many of her shocked and grieving colleagues blame themselves for not recognizing the danger signs earlier.

“Plum was always complaining about how cold she was,” said her supervisor, who asked not to be named. “She was already wearing a winter coat at work, and just last month she started wearing fingerless gloves just so she could keep typing at her computer. We should have taken better care of her.”

Initial police investigation of the Fin-Thai climate revealed that office temperatures were averaging 19 degrees Celsius, which is within the legal minimum but is considered dangerous for some Thais, especially those who come from rural, non-air-conditioned backgrounds. Nattawan was from Udon Thani.

Police did not say whether the management of Fin-Thai would be liable for Nattawan’s death. However, a spokesperson for Fin-Thai insisted that the air-conditioning system was centrally controlled by Bangkok City Tower, and that normally the office temperature is a safer 25 degrees.

However, the plunge in outside air temperatures during the prolonged rainy season had not been matched with a subsequent adjustment to the building thermostat settings, resulting in the fatal office conditions that ultimately killed Nattawan.

“Office managers have a responsibility to maintain safe working conditions,” said new Minister of Labour Padeumchai Sasomsap in a prepared statement. “We will make sure to investigate this tragedy fully and learn from it.”

Padeumchai also announced a new initiative to prevent future incidences of AOP, including guidelines on how to dress warmly for air-conditioned offices, such as the correct use of wool scarves and hats that cover the ears.

They had been meticulously planning their costumes for quite some time.

The annual summer sports day had a long tradition of fancy dress and, eager to impress, the pupils of Sacred Heart Catholic School kept their outfits under wraps for weeks.

They wanted to surprise their parents and teachers as they made their entrance at the school in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

And surprise them they did. With a flourish and a fanfare, they revealed their costumes - to outraged gasps from the crowd.

The smiling pupils arrived at the school dressed in full Nazi regalia and carrying large Swastika flags, leaving foreign parents and teachers open-mouthed.

Leading the march into the sports ground was a girl dressed as Adolf Hitler - complete with toothbrush moustache - seemingly unaware of the offence she had caused.

She was followed by a procession of pupils dressed as SS guards - brandishing plastic machine guns.

Stunned ex-pats were appalled. Surely the pupils were aware of what the Swastika and Nazis represented?

Apparently not, as it emerged that not even the Thai teachers at the school understood what all the fuss was about.

A teacher at the school said: 'It was all very embarrassing. Traditionally the students wear fancy dress on the summer sports day and they like to keep everything they are preparing quiet. Nobody saw any swastikas around the school before the event.

'But then on sports day when we saw these Nazi storm troopers we were appalled. We told the Thai teachers that this was not on. But they did not understand what was wrong with the display.'

Today, a delegation from the consulates of Britain, the United States, France and Germany descended on the school to protest about the controversy - and called on teachers to put modern history and the Holocaust on the curriculum.

They left the premises after the school told them no malice had been intended.

Chiang Mai is a popular retirement destination for many Europeans and Americans, some of whom lost relatives to the Nazis.

A British parent added: 'It could have been worse. They could have been marching to the 'Horst Wessel Song or Bomb Oh Bombs on England."

The school's principals did not want to comment about the incident, but a spokesman said: 'We did not know what the students had planned. No offence was intended.'

This is not the first incident of its kind in Thailand. In 2007 about 200 students from a Bangkok school dressed as Nazis for their summer sports day, Sieg Heiling as they strutted around.

Kanya Khemanan, a director of the Thewphaingarm School, was forced to apologise to the Los Angeles-based Holocaust museum Simon Wiesenthal Centre following the incident.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center said at the time: 'We are long past the time when such incidents take place in Asia that can be excused due to "alleged" ignorance of the Nazis' atrocities during World War II.'

I have to say though, Thailand seems like one of the only places in the world where people aren't familiar with Hitler. They had that sign up on the way into Pattaya for the wax museum thing and the billboard had a picture of Hitler saluting and the tagline "Hitler isn't dead" or something like that.

The other part that is disturbing is that this isn't the first time. As the original article points out, another school that did this had to issue a formal apology. And the Hitler sign in Pattaya was all over the news a couple of years ago.

Yes, the Buddhist and Hindu swastikas are different but they're based on the same design. The black, white, red is 100% Nazi.

What I meant was I don't think it odd to see a swastika on a Buddhist or Hindu religious image since it was their's to begin with.

If it was simply a matter of not understanding why many people get upset at a religious swastika I could understand the confusion. But when you dress up like Hitler, Nazis, or tell people that Hitler isn't dead . . . well, WTF were you thinking?
