id ratha have a shot of 100 pipers

as far as ive learned in 2 yrs from livin n this amazingly unorganized organized corrupt country

b and p sound similar

tho i might b wrong cause im trying so hard to learn thai

for me learning french and SPANISH was way

easier ( understanding that they use the ENGLISH alphabet )

but when tryin to learn thai ( not only does it look like chicken scratch )

but sentences seem to run together meaning there is no space and even at that

the L's r kinda mexican n a way that they can roll or sound like R's?

am i wrong?

krap'krab'caP' CAB

rak khun mak maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak

kid teung

joob joop?

it makes it twice as hard 4 me to learn thai when thai ppl/ euro ppl/ aussie ppl/ american ppl spell each word in english DIFFERENTLY

4 ex

sawasdee krab

was how i first learned it

but then i see this

wADEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE kap

swadeeeeeeeeeeeeeee krap

swaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee caaaaaaaaaaaaaaap

and so many more

dont get me started on NALATEEEEWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

or naratiwat

or naladewat

?????????????????

sometimes i feel clueless but it help to hear a thai person say it in their native accent ya know?

am i the only one who feels that????

I understand you Oo.Cloud.oO

Have you faced the situation that you call a taxi telling him you want to go to "sheraton hotel", driver gave you a confusing face.. then you repeat "sheraton" with your farang accent.. again and again slowly ... then the driver goes

"ohhh sherrr raaaa ton"

yeahhhh there you go
