I would be polite and take them home or wherever they wanted to go and then say goodbye and wish them well. Have done this way before. No need to run away and be an arsehole. Nobody likes a rejection, but when it's needed, do it with class. Think of other side of the coin. but if it gets really bad.... call the police. Usually the unspoken temperment is known away unless they are a real airhead in which case being an arsehole and doing a runner is even more pathetic.
