This is the first time I have instigated a Journal entry, but wanted to share a recent experience and as TF is a Thai site, it seams as good a place as any.
I was coming to Thailand last week for a short break and arranged to meet a girl that I had chatted to a couple of times for dinner.
We got on so well that I have just spent a fantastic week with a beautiful, intelligent and witty girl when we eat great food, drank good wine, partied like there was no tomorrow and made love during all the
frankenburner2 commented in an earlier Journal entry that a date ?showing up...on time...would be nice?.
This prompted me to post my own views on the subject as arriving late is a phenomena particularly relevant to Thai girls (and some other Asian nationalities) and used to really get under my skin. If I can make the effort to arrive on time then why can?t they? Nowadays there is no excuse as we all have mobile phones so it is always possible to call and apologise.
After it started happening
Last night I spent a very sticky 2 hours crushing 54 kilo of grapes and ended up with bits of grape skin stuck between my toes and sticky juice all up my legs. It took another hour cleaning up the mess I had made. Never mind, in six weeks I hope to taste the new and very young 2005 vintage wine.
The trouble some of us have to go to when it?s not possible to nip down to 7-eleven for a bottle of red plonk!

I have just spent an hour trolling through the pictures of the most recent female members and am amazed at how many gorgeous girls are joining TF (70 in the past 2 weeks). Are they all trying to improve their English or is there something more they are after?
I am not a very active member of this site, but when I looked at my statistics this morning I find that out of the last 13 votes I received, 5 of them were from the same guy.
Is it normal for a guy to vote for another guy every day of the week, or am I just being paranoid?
