Isn't Thailand unique? I guess each person might happen upon that one place on this earth, regardless of their birthplace, that is completely foreign and simultaneously familiar... for me of course it was Thailand. That crazy place was like nothing I've ever experienced before yet was as comfortable as home.
Some other life.. not this one. That's what I tell myself when I dream a return visit. I want to live there, in the bosom of my attraction. Lol, an apropos expression but ridiculous... lik
I just wrote my first 'blog' since the days of the 'journal' and whamo - when I clicked post now, all was lost as the browser returned to the log-in page! Ugh... don't I remember writing letters on TF only to have the log-in issue and a loss of my letter?
short cookie life. lol, I'll try again later - just can't seem to rewrite what was already a complete thought.
It's been more than a year and a half since I was in Thailand. Though I've travelled many times since then it's Thailand that left the strongest impressions. Can't say it was just the vibrant history, ancient culture and pervasive religion that I found so overwhelmingly attractive. Nearly stunned with amazement at every turn Thailand was instantly a part of my composition for better and for worse... like a pre-arranged marriage I had little choice as I was consumed by it all and carry the memory

here are the words to a Jimi Hendrix song called, "Bold as Love"
Anger he smiles towering shiny metallic purple armor.
Queen jealousy, envy waits behind him.
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground.
Blue are the life giving waters taking for granted,
They quietly understand.
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on.
But they're all, bold as love.
Yeah, they're all bold as lo

Hey, It's March 5th. I wrote a poem for this journal. I hope you can make out some of the rhyme. I'm not much of a writer but it seemed more fun than writing another journal entry.
Noon for me, midnight for you. Sleep well~!

I woke up a little bit sad today
As the memories of Thailand begin to fade away.
It's been two weeks since I've returned home
I've spent all of this time completely alone
Holding on to the action, the sight and the sound
Embracing the influences my travels
