I'm still in Busan, South Korea and I had to sell my scooter because I'm going to Bangkok in two weeks. I was worried that I waited to long into winter to sell it. I hear every immigration office is different. I've heard horror stories from people about immigration not processing their request and making it difficult for them.So today I went to immigration to get a 10-day extension. My visa expires on Nov. 13 and my ticket to Bangkok is Nov. 23. I rode the subway over 1 hour to the immigration office and realized I FORGOT my PASSPORT.I complete the paperwork anyway and gave the officer my application, alien card and copy of my e-ticket to Bangkok. My employer in Korea must provide a return ticket for me to Bangkok. I couldn't believe how crazy it was just to buy a one way ticket from Busan to Bangkok. My boss had everyone involved running around making phone calls checking with travel agents looking at internet rates. My boss even asked me if I was willing to go to Seoul and fly out of there to save 40,000 won, which is only 200 baht. Are they joking.????Finally they bought the ticket for November 23. Gosh, they are so silly.
I'm in Busan, Korea now. The weather is changing. Its nice and cool. Winter is coming soon.I have about two more weeks here and I have to leave the country. I'm planning on going to Bangkok.
