Na, Today is the last day for my course in this semester.

As it's traditional here, then we have party .

Everybody bring their own National Food to the party.

I had thought a lots what should I cook and also changed my mind so many times.

And final decidion on Tuesday , I decied to cook "Khao-Tom-Pad".

I am sure Thai ppl know what it is, but for ''farang" , not so sure if you guys understand.

Khao-Tom-Pad is Thai famous dessert .....

Glautinous rice cook with coconut milk + Bananas + "Black bean"..lol

And after cooking and it is already cool we wrap it with Banana leaf.

As an amatuer cook like me, I bought the wrong banana leaf, I should have bought the fresh leaf and lay it outside take an airing ( better for wrapping) but I bought the freeze leaf , and it can not good for wrapping (:(((

But I still had done it, some banana leaf can wrap, but I get it not so much pieces as I thought.

****At the Party*****

1.Forgot my camera, so have to wait for the photos from my colleages .....

2.Ate lots of "Shu-Shi" today ....

3.Ate "Carrot Cake" ..YES! you didn't read it wrong ;)

It's really really really delicious!!!! had no idea that vegetable like "carrot" can also be one of dessert ingredient

Tomorrow I will be free like the bird .....heyhey....

Lazy Busy Piggy Barbie

Khai Tom Pad sounds pretty good, I'll have to try it on my next trip to Thailand in FEB. Carrot Cake is one of my favorites. Yummy, I'm hungry now.

You are confused!!! Khao tom pad vs Khao tom mad are different na!

Khao tom pad is ready to eat (sweet) . But Khao tom mad you have to eat it with coconut and a bit sugar... girl!!
