So I finally got accepted to one school in Paris. I am now trying to sort out the papers for the visa, looking for a rental apartment both short term and long term. I've googled and got a few links. However, it would be great to receive any advice or suggestions on all things Paris, esp. area to stay, which area is well known for what, student room (at first) and a long term apartment, social security, etc...

The school is in 11th district by the way.
