There are all kinds of things lurking in the mountains. Elephants, tigers, snakes, spiders, leeches... Well, it's about 10pm as I type and I imagine they're all having fun around the campfire. But in 2-3 hours, it will be time to face the silence and the mountains are never silent! I wonder how many times "What the hell was that???" will be spoken tonight!

Well, I have a very bad case of flu. I'm glad I'm home and can try to nurse myself back to good health. Then next weekend on to Koh Samet, where people sleeping in bungalows will be saying, "What the hell was that???"
