to all you beefeaters and 'moo'-eaters:I have to admit: I still eat meat. However, I try to eat less meat by buying a lot of vegetarian stuff instead of meat. Also I pay a bit more buying myself meat of which I know the animals have had a descent life before they died. I don't know whether these links of 'the meatrix' (cartoons) were ever posted here on TF. At any rate, it can be a good reminder as well.

yeah, I know that it is boring stuff maybe... I think the site is nice though... The fact that meat is so delicious in Thailand and the fact that most animals do have a good live in Thailand makes this an unnecessary journal I guess. When I was in Chiang Rai there was also so delicious vegetarian food to be found though!

For those visiting Chiang Rai: see: --> http://wikitravel.org/en/Chiang_Rai <-- I made some comments there. One of mine: about vegetarian restaurant 'Oasis'. Very good restaurant!

What about veggie-places in BKK?

What about the situation on animals in Thailand? I would like to know if there are farms where animals are locked up in tiny places just to be prepared to be ready for the butcher asap?

Still look forward to comments about this issue...

Thanks Ni! This journal should make people think of what kind of meat they are eating... but I am afraid that you'll be the first and the last who reads this.... mmmm.... thanks again!
