Yes, Kitty, it will be strange to be in the US and knowing I will be there for sometime. I've already negotiated a temporary apartment deal for mid july through August with grad students in my program that are leaving for Senegal, Mexico and Benin. So Mai and I have a place to stay for 6 weeks while we search houses and apartments.

HEY everyone- Mai got her driving license! Woo-hoo. SO now she can have more confidence when she begins classes in the US and can help me drive across country. Speaking of that! Be sure to check in here from time to time after we arrive in the US as we will be changing the pics often durin the Road Trip.

Oiling more wood today! I-YI-YI! And the wife has scheduled a physical stress test for me today at 4 pm at the hospital. Ya know where they tape those wires on our chest and and put the tube in your mouth? So she has to shave parts of my chest today and take my blood for TB testing. Ought to be interesting.
