I am quite sure that how much you love your girl can be seen in ur ability how much pain and suffer you can take because of her shoe fanaticism. Somehow this ‘thinkaboutshoes’ part is just missing in the male brain… so we better take it as a law of nature like gravity or death.

I often enter with mixed feelings these huge, gigantic shopping malls, seeing these impish smile on your girls face,  yes.. that’s when I start praying that I will ever find the way out of this mall and see the sunlight again…

(No rule without exception.. You know who I mean…)

Ok, I have to admit that I realized a similar ‘defect’ in my personality. (same same but different).  I love to go shopping in do-it-yourself stores.  A new one opened close to my place. And I love it when u enter and can not see the end of this huge building. If you want to buy some wood you first have to take a 2 hours walk passing the paint, metal, plumbing, garden, tiles, tools, lighting, electrical…. departments..

Last time I just needs some screws, but took me more than one hour.. I just had to look around.  and then I saw this poor guy arguing with his wife/gf/ about a new drilling machine…  ‘U already have one’ that is what she said 100 times.. I could not help myself and when I walked past them I said: ‘Yes, but this one is red!’ The guy laughed his ass off and the woman gave me an evil eye.…  I saw him later at the cashier and he had his red drilling machine… good guy.

Personally I think you should have the appropriate tool/technique for each screw/ hole you wanna do (..English is not my native language, so please forgive me for this ambiguous word construction )

At the moment I do not have the need to buy any new tools.. so my favorite place in the DIY is the rental department. Wow, they have this mini-digger., a N 8002 Wow, wow, wow… now I rack my brain what excuse I can find for this one…  I am changing a lot in my condo .. but it’s under the roof!

When I entered the tool rental area there was this girl looking at these tiny drilling machines. The incarnation of an angle, supermodeltype, cute, tall and very, very sexy… hey, I am a friendly guy and a semi professional craftsman…

      Me:   ‘I would not take this one’

Sweet angel:   ’Hmm’     …looks at me…

      Me:   ‘Take the one from Bosch, this one is much better

Girl:   ‘Thx, I think I can handle this myself’ … sniffy look …

      Me:   ‘Ops’ … …

Arrogant *****:     … walks away…

 yes girls.. that’s how the male brain works!!) 

Yep, gotta love the power tools. Whats a man without his tool, a ladyboy lol
