It finally all happened yesterday. I started my job back in November, initially just to deal with booking bands and DJ's.I had only been there a little while when I noticed that  a lot more was wrong than I initially thought.I started taking a more active role in the business and tried very hard to fix all these problems, all the time I kept on coming up against one major problem my Manager. This guy is a spoiled kid who has never known any discipline, he thinks he is far superior to everyone and has an extreme cocaine habit. After a while I found out why he was my Manager, his mother kept on promising my boss that he was going to buy the bar off my boss but after nearly 2yrs this still has not happened. Well since I started here our gross profit is up over 25% of last year and steadily rising. I spoke to my boss 2 months ago and asked him what was going on, if he was still going to sell it to my manager I needed to know as I would leave, I have found him impossible to deal with and no longer wanted to work with him. My boss asked me to stay around till he had a sailing holiday in Phuket and promised we would sort it all out then.  2 weeks ago he returned but that was the week the other manager decided to take a holiday. The boss and I sat down with several of the other staff to talk about the situation and everyone agreed the other manger was negative rude and not interested in the benefit of the business. Yesterday my manager was given a months pay asked to leave and told the business was no longer available for him to buy. I am now in charge and working on a deal with my boss to rent the bar off him and to help him franchise a group of bars all with a similar concept.Hard work can pay off

I intend to make the place a fantastic music venue like it was supposed to be the other guy was running it in to the ground ( I think to get it at a cheaper price) To do this I need a good team you cant be a good team player if you think you are superior to everyone, I did not stab anyone in the back I worked for my boss not that manager, I have no guilt about what I have done. If he had done his job properly he would have the business by now instead he wanted to party away the profits and get high all the time, something I grew out of long ago.
