Took the night off last night and popped round my friends for food. Had the best meal in a long time and listened to Pat Martino and Jimmy Smith on vinyl.Big fat steak, baked potato and sourcream with chives, served on an artichoke and tomato salad. The simple pleasures are always the best.

If the steak in the UK is as good or better as in the USA, sounds good with a baked potato......has to be much better than the Austrailia steak in Thailand anyday...........

Yeah Eddie, that's why all the 5* hotels in Thailand use it.

Stu: I don't know about all the 5stars hotels, but I thought the Austrailian steak was a bit on the fatty side......of course you're in a 5star bar, and with your experience, I assume you know everything.......
