A song of love is so sad.CryA song of love is a song of woe.Don't ask me how i knowSealedA song of love is sad song. For I have loved and it's so.I sit at the window and watch the rain.SmileTomorrow I probably will love again.

The poem is actually a song called Hi Lili Hi Lo. It came from a 1953 film called "Lili" and was sung by Lesley Caron. The version of the song I remember best was by Alan Price, the keyboard player with "The Animals" in 1966. Here are the full lyrics to the song:

A song of love is a sad song, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo

A song of love is a song of woe

Don't ask me how I know

A song of love is a sad song

For I have loved and it's so

I sit at the window and watch the rain, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo

Tomorrow I'll probably love again, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo.

Tomorrow I'll probably love again, Hi-Lili----Hi-Lili----Hi-Lo.

See if you can find a version of the song on MP3, it's a cute little song!
