Here is a nice story for you

It’s Christmas day not last year but the year before, I am stuck in London away from my family and friends and feeling lonely, I check my email and I have a message on myspace. I had only recently set it up and had not really bothered using it. I checked the message and it basically said look on my myspace you will know who I am if you want to get in contact please message me.

I looked on the page and it was my fathers third wife, they had divorced when I was a teenager and I had not heard form her since, my father had died since and I did not expect to have contact with her again as she had moved to California with my father when I was about 9 years old previous to that she had helped to bring me up and we were very close. I had nothing but fond memories of her and we have now got a strong friendship and are in close contact and hopefully meeting up later in the year when she visits London.

She now lives in Texas with her husband Bobby and this week they released a new album so I have got a clip for you to watch. A lot of you will recognise the song as her husband originally released it when he was in a band with Eric Clapton called Derrick and the Dominoes. This new album features some great artists including Willie Nelson and Eric Johnson. I am very happy to be able to call this wonderful talented lady my mum again after all these years
