Random ramblings of a smiling stranger

I am undecided if this entry is a question, or a statement, as I myself am still trying to establish the direction at which I find myself going in. Perhaps some advice and tips from those nicer, sweeter, more romantic and better looking (that includes you Zappa82!) than me would be bloody useful to me! Well, here goes...Perhaps you, like me, have been scrolling through the online list bored out of your mind, and trying to be friendly to every owner of every profile you stumble across (that’s right, even the ones you don’t consider so stunning in their appearance!) as I was the other evening.A not so brilliant (but still kind!) testimonial was left by my part on several profiles, with some not so brilliant responses - but one response (which was only a few words long itself) made me smile. It was nothing funny, nothing too nice, but it did happen to be extremely sweet in my eyes. There was no comment about my looks, or my personality. It could have been a generic testimonial (though I very much doubt it now), but it still made me feel different than any other testimonial ever has.Such inspiration followed as a result of the responding testimonial from this sweet young lady  that within a few hours, I was chatting with the generous donor of such near perfect words, and time was rushing by. For those of you that have seen the Godfather, you could say "he's been struck by the thunder bolt". Not being a virgin as such to Thailand (actually, I have never met a Farang in Thailand that was a virgin, I stand to be corrected, and quite possibly CondoTown fits into this category!?!) and knowing a little about Thai culture (both official and unofficial) I was still a little cautious of my approach to things - just like the ying and the yang, there is light and dark in the eyes of the beholder.Days are passing by now, and I am slowly less and less cautious on how I speak to this wonderful lady (who probably wouldn't want me to mention her name, as she is very shy I have come to find) and wonder what will happen next. I have chatted with many of you, and many of you have become very good friends. I now find myself debating on what to do next - Songkran is coming, but then again I do already have a trip booked for October - who votes a premature "double whammy" is better than a single trip? And before you rush off to my testimonials to see who it was that inspired this entry, it probably wouldn't mean a whole lot to you unless you had the conversation I did after the fact - I consider myself very lucky at this very date and time, luckier than any of you he he he! Please, no negative comments, I've been around a while and I don't think I’ll get burnt, but if I do let me be a man and take it knowing I took a risk for happiness. Thank you to all for your parental advice and tips in my current situation Money mouth- H
