A song from Mea Naak prakhanong the series ....

The singer is Apinya Chareanwong (she was a reporter on Chanel 3)

So many year we have heard about Mea Naak .There are a research (I think it is a pilot study) proved that ppl in Thailand (King Rama 5) know Mea Naak even more than knowing other famous ppl in Thailand

Prince Damrong Rachanupab asked ppl who walked pass the palace's gate if they know 4 of those famous ppl and found that almost everyone know Mea Naak.

I found that 3 of the princes of Siam said they had seen Mea Naak before (M.R. Charean Isarangkunr,prince Chomporn khet u-domsak and M.R.Kuegrit Pramote)

In the legend said Somdej puttachan toh was a monk who talked to Mea Naak and asked her to stop killing then bring her bone with (as you have read in the previous Journal).Her bone passed to M.R. Prapudthabatpilan(M.R. Puttachan Tat) then to a monk name Loungpuu Pring ,Loungpuu Pring (Fay’s note :a monk- my grandfather know this monk in person) gave her bone to his beloved students (Prince Chumporn khet u-domsak).

I found on the paper that Nang Naak ghost told Prince Chumporn khet u-domsak that she was going to go (Fay’s note : not sure where , maybe re-born as Thais' belief)

there is a place name "Maha Naak" which a place that ppl have seen Naak 's prowess,transfrom her image big as a small building to scare ppl. (that is why we call Maha Naak ,Maha means big)

k.s.r. Kurab the editor of "Siam prapet" magazine. said as he had found the note that a monk named Prasrisompoth at wat Suwan told his teacher about Naak legend

"In King Rama 3 period Naak was a dougther of a cheif lived in prakhanong area and a wife of the rich actor (who play Tossakarn in Ramayana the epic).(Fay's note:The actor named Chom not Maak as we know from the legend),

Naak passed away and her children worried if their father will find someone else and remarried. They pretended to be Naag haunting ,hiding near where their mother was bury throw something to ppl.They admired that later, they did not want anyone to get marry to thier father and own those properties."

Anek Navikamol found that Nang Naak's husband did not name Mak ,In a Thai journal named "Taweepanya" (in King Rama 5 Period).

The writer named "Naikeaw Naikhaawn"(repesented name of Prince Mongkut who became King Rama 6), he wrote "Nang Naak's story the second" put Naak's husband named Chote.

"Mak" found the first time in thai famous opera show (in King Rama 6 period).The writer named "Mahk paya" who wrote the script just made this name up

Fay :while I studied about Mea Naak.I found many ppl told that they have seen Mea Naak ,especially the actors and the actresses of Mea Naak on film and someone who worked or wrote about her story.....err who is doing that now??

more I read more I doubt .......make me want to know more

I cannot say I believe in Mea Naag ghost ....but ..... how I can say I believe ...as I cannot prove thing yet.........if you have been telling the same story several times since you were young........even you dont believe .... you must feel something....

I hope you understand your thai wife/girlfriend more .....
