XXX: No I was not really joking actually. Was I being nasty or mean spirited? Perhaps? Harsh yes I was. Why? Well I had noticed that he had been a member for some time who was very active and frankly positive and even amusing at times. However when I looked at his profile I checked out a few things and I saw a photo of him with some girls old enough to be his daughters and the thought simply occured to me that there was something not quite wholesome about the image or the picture he painted also of himself with regard to being a fun loving type just interesting in having fun. While I agrree with tolerance and even understanding of variouis peoples and unusual characters I dont believe in promoting what is fundamentally a little suspect. At his age I simply question the wisedom or agenda of a 61 yearold spending so much time and energy directed towards and among young women. DO you recall his journal about meeting a complete stranger on the Bkk undergrouind/skytrain? That was actually creepy and instead it was passed of as just quirky. It reminds me a bit of the whole Jackson case in some repsects. As for me airing this view? Well it is a tad insensitive I agree but it is what many people would think and admit to if they were honest so it is to be expected that someone should be reminded of the reality of peoples prejudices and instinctive perceptions. I dont believe in this American tendency for having old people carrying on like teenagers when they clearly are not. Ther eis no dignity or grace in it and basically my response is not to encourage it or promote it.

Others such as yourself no doubt disagree and so you can make your voice heard much louder than mine. In expressing my view I am no doubt a clear minority but holding thew view is I suspect much more prevalent that you would care to admit. Alternatively you can conclude that I am just an a**hole without any logical reason or explanation for my airing my opinion.
