the script this year must be consistency not much good listening to sat/sun results with fear we throw it away again, last year we where lucky that teams played just as bad as us which enabled 5th place this year it will be differant every one will be in our face to claim 4th spot.we cant live on reputation we won the european cup thats now in the history books.you can bet we wont be classed as underdogs now.gerrard has also got to stop playing games if being liverpool captain is not good enough for him then its goodby and let the manager manage.

As for Stevie G, if he stays great, if he goes well sure we will be sad, but we have all seen people come and go we will get over it, can go against a manager that wins the Champions League in his first season and country, let alone with all the injuries we had, we will still win trophies with or without him, although it would be nice to see him lift them,

I agree with stanoman, agents are ruining this game its there greed and not the players interest, Gerrard can go down in History can be bigger than Dalglish, so lets see where his heart really is. 100K a week plus the rest we only want people to wear the shirt with passion and pride.

Hot News

LIVERPOOL claim Steven Gerrard wants to leave the club.

The Anfield outfit have already rejected a £32million bid for their captain from Chelsea.

And they insist they do not need or want to sell the 25-year-old

England midfielder.

Chief executive Rick Parry said: ?We desperately want to keep Stevie and we?ve told him we don?t want him to leave.

?However, in rejecting our offer of a new contract he has indicated he wants to go.?

It appears only a matter of time now before he leaves the club he

guided to Champions League glory in May.

Gerrard?s agent, Struan Marshall, informed Liverpool of the decision earlier today.

Real Madrid confirmed their interest on Tuesday in the England star, who has two years left on his current deal at Anfield.

And Jose Mourinho hopes his mega-money move will blow their Spanish rivals out of the running for the unhappy Liverpool skipper.
