call your phone by another phone. maybe you hear it yourself where it's lost or maybe you have the luck that a honest person take up the phone and will return it to you. When a bastard has stolen it from you or the finder of your telephone is a bad person; damn luck and buy another one

yeah try calling your phone... if someone answers then offer them a reward to give the phone back to you.

course it doesn't always work. i left my phone in a taxi and whoever found it decided he/she wanted to keep it. they'd answer but not say anything- finally they turned it off. grrrrrr!!!!
